If you've been searching for that perfect spot to get away from it all, the New Wilderness Cabin is it!

The Wilderness Cabin is situated on private property which is located at the end of Forest Road 709 in the middle of the West Elk Wilderness; although we have had the use of a great cabin on the property for several years - the Wilderness Cabin is brand new! It was completed in 2006!

It boasts a great kitchen with all the kitchen appliances and cooking equipment you'll need to make great meals! The large dining table will seat 10-12 hungry folks!

The living room is furnished with comfortable couches and chairs, satellite TV and beautiful scenery right out the big widows and from the deck.

The master bedroom is located upstairs and is furnished with a king size bed and satellite TV. Next to the master bedroom is a large loft room which can sleep 3 to 4 people and shares the bath room with the master bedroom. There is also a deck outside on this level for enjoying the scenery and watching the wildlife.

The bottom floor includes 2 bedrooms a full bath, laundry facilities and a room which can be used for a bedroom or for relaxing and watching TV or playing card games etc.

Outside on the bottom deck you can hop in the hot tub!

There is a lake and a stream for fishing within walking distance. There are numerous hiking trails, mountains to climb and horse back riding when available.
